Yield

Yield

Yield is one of the most important numbers on a test certificate. It tells you how much clean, usable wool is left after washing out the grease and dirt. A high yield means you’re getting more value per kilo — which is better for both growers and processors.

Synonyms

Clean yield, Scoured yield, Usable wool, Wool recovery
